Xiang Sha Yang Wei Wan (Hsiang Stomach Pill), is a useful formula for weakened digestion marked by food stagnation: bloating, gurgling, nausea, acid regurgitation, gastritis, and some morning sickness.
TCM: Dispels damp, transforms phlegm, harmonizes the stomach, counters ascent of stomach qi, tonifies spleen qi, soothes the liver, promotes digestion, stops vomiting. Use for chronic digestive complaints characterized by poor appetite, abdominal distension, accumulation of phlegm and food matter, nausea, acid regurgitation, borborygmus (abdominal gurgling sounds) and loose or erratic stools. Can be used for chronic gastritis, duodenal ulcer, chronic hepatitis and morning sickness.
Use for chronic complaints due to accumulation of damp with qi stagnation and causing bloating and discomfort following eating. This formula prioritizes stagnation of qi, phlegm and damp rather than an underlying deficiency. It is hepful for chronic food stagnation and is also for spleen deficiency morning sickness.
Dosage: Bottles of 200 pills. Take 8 pills, 3x day. (dosage can be increased up to 12 pills, if needed)
