Wu Yang Plaster provides cooling pain relief for sprains, strains, torn or pulled muscles. It contains cooling herbs similar to San Huang San Herbal "Ice", though it does not penetrate as deeply. Use it anywhere you need relief from swelling, heat, and inflammation. It can reduce a bruise by 75% in the first 15 hours and is the application of choice for bruising or acute traumatic swelling, where San Huang San Herbal "Ice" is unavailable or inconvenient to use.

Instructions for use:

Do not use on wet or sweaty skin.
Clean and dry the affected area before application.
Remove the attached film from medicated patch and apply adhesive side to the affected area.
Apply to affected area not more than 3 times a day because it will remain effective for about 8 hours in normal conditions.
It will be more effective when used after hot shower or massage.

Children under 2 years of age: Do not use. Consult a doctor.

Technical Specs:

This formula is based on a recipe used by martial arts practitioners to
help recover from injuries incurred during practice sessions. It is
indicated for neuralgia, rheumatoid arthritis, spasms, swelling and
pain, bruise, sprain, and fracture. A key element in this formula,
aside from the penetrating aromatics, is daemonorops resin, known as
"dragon's blood." It is the red resin of a palm tree that is commonly used for treatment of injuries. It is
reputed to aid break down of clotted blood and promote regrowth of
damaged tissues.

For external use only.
Do not bandage.
Do not apply to wounds or damaged/broken skin.
Discontinue use immediately if excessive skin irritation or itching develops.
Avoid contact with mucous membranes.

These patches are fantastic! My massage therapist told me about them and gave me one to try. I've been using them ever since. I have fibromyalgia and they really help relieve the muscle pain that I have in my upper and lower back. I've had huge knots in my shoulders and these have gotten rid of them over night.
