Description More Information   Watermelon Frost Spray (gui lin xi gua shuang) is prepared according to a proven secret recipe which has been handed down from generation to generation.  It works well at allaying inflammation, removing toxicity, bringing down fevers, killing pains, stopping bleeding, etc. It has a unique and curative effect on the ailments occurring in the upper respiratory tract. This is an effective medicine when applied topically to the throat, sinus, gum, or open wound. The herbs fight inflammation both by invigorating qi and blood and clearing heat toxins (bacteria and virus). It is very good for sore throat, and can be effective against strep throat. The "frost" of the watermelon (Cirtrullus Xi Gua Shuang) is made by removing its contents and packing the hollow rind with salt. After a day or two a dark "frost" appears on the outside of the skin, which is scraped off. TCM: Clears heat, resolves toxin, invigorates blood, disperses swelling, relieves pain. Use for heat toxins causing acute sore throat, laryngitis, tonsillitis, and mouth canker sores. Also for acute sinus infection, and inner ear infections. Can be used topically on ulcerative skin lesions, burns, and bleeding wounds. Note: the formula has a strong aromatic character. An excellent and effective remedy for herpes mouth canker sores. Spray at bedtime. Administration: Apply 1-2 squirts to affected area 2-3 times per day.  For sinus infection, snort into nose. Ingredients: Citrullus Xi Gua Shang, Coptis Huang Lian, Fritillaria Chuan Bei Mu, Mu Han Guo, Sophora Shan Dou Gen, Borneol Bing Pian  Spray: 2.5g
