Description   Indications: Use for acute and chronic sinus congestion marked by thick yellow nasal discharge, heat and redness around the sinus cavities, and sinus pain or headache. Also useful for ear ache or congestion, and common cold marked by nasal congestion. Dispels pathogenic wind, clears heat, resolves toxin, transforms phlegm, dispels turbidity, diffuses the lung, opens the nasal passages, dispels damp. When the predominant symptoms are sneezing or watery eyes, the Bi Yan Pian formula is more suitable. With bacterial infection, combine with Huang Lian Su. Pe Min Kan Wan May 30, 2009 Reviewer: Erin Martineau from Parkville, MO United States   I take Pe Min Kan Wan every time I develop upper respiratory symptoms whether due to cold or allergies.  The results for me far exceed any over-the-counter or prescription medication I've ever taken.  And with no side effects!  Within 24 to 48 hours my symptoms are radically reduced if not altogether gone.  I continue to take it at a maintenance dose of three tablets three times a day after my symptoms subside for the course of the cold (usually a week) or allergy season, or if necessary I increase it again to max dosage.  But I cannot get the same relief from pharmaceuticals as I do from this product, and I don't have to suffer that druggy feeling.  No side effects.  It's amazingly effective for me, thankfully.
