Description Technical Specs More Information   Gui Pi Wan tonifies spleen and heart qi, nourishes heart blood, secures qi and contains blood, calms shen. Use for heart shen disorders due to deficiency of qi and blood, characterized by insomnia or restless sleep, poor memory, excessive dreaming, dizziness, palpitations or anxiety. Also for fatigue or poor appetite, and bleeding due to gastric ulcer. Use for blood deficiency disorders including aplastic anemia and thrombocytopenic purpura, and gynecological complaints due to blood deficiency including amenhorrhea, light menses, prolonged menstrual bleeding, and chronic leukorrhea due to spleen deficiency. Gui Pi Wan is a classic formula for heart blood deficiency due to spleen qi deficiency. It has a wide variety of applications, and is most often indicated for insomnia due to blood deficiency and deficiency bleeding disorders. Differentiation from insomnia due to yin deficiency is made by observing a pale tongue and looking for other blood deficiency symptoms such as scant periods, dry hair and skin, or cracked finger nails. Thought to be helpful for fibromyalgia (click on More Information tab). Ingredients: Angelica (Dang Gui), Atractylodes (Bai Zhu), Euphoria Longan (Long Yan Rou), Polygala (Yuan Zhi), Poria (Fu Ling), Codonopsis (Dang Shen), Zizyphus (Suan Zao Ren), Astragalus (Huang Qi), Aucklandia (Mu Xiang), Glycyrrhiza (Gan Cao), Zizyphus Jujube (Da Zao) Bottles of 200 pills.
