Beating the Boxer/MMA Striker (adults)
"Don't Fight His Fight, Fight Your Fight" You cannot beat a Boxer at his own game, but you can defeat his technique by doing unorthodox techniques that go completely against what he is trained for. In this class, you will learn to "Shut him down" on the first beat, jam him up so he cannot counter, and strike where he cannot defend.
Attacking Techniques of the Snake and Crane (adults)
Siu Lum Hung Kuen also known as Hung-Gar Gung-Fu, contains two types of Crane Styles within its methods. Tibetan White Crane, a long armed striking system inspired by a legendary fight between a Crane and an Ape, And Fukien White Crane, a short striking system developed by the Buddhist Nun, Ng Mui. It is based on the techniques of the Snake and Crane-which later developed into Wing Chun Gung-Fu, the style Bruce Lee made famous. In this class, you will be taught the "Entry Techniques," or Attack Sequences of both methods. These striking techniques are also considered unorthodox, and pair perfectly with the techniques taught in Beating the Boxer/MMA Striker. Lion Dancing (children) Learn the traditional steps of the Hung Gar Lion Dance. You will also learn to play the music and maybe have an opportunity to become the head or tail of the Lion!
