Ching Wan Hung is one of China's major herbal medicines for burns, so much so that it is used for serious third degree burns in hospitals. As a product, it is recommended as a topical first aid for first and second degree burns. It reduces the blistering and pain of a burn, promotes tissue regereration, and prevents scarring. Burns should be covered to protect the ointment from being wiped off. For serious burns, the ointment is put on, covered with gauze, and then wiped off with dead skin every 24 hours, until healing is complete.

Ching Wan Hung (also written Jing Wan Hong) clears heat, disperses swelling, invigorates blood, relieves pain, generates tissue. Use topically for first, second, and third degree burns with blistering, redness and pain. It has been applied to chemical burns, radiation burns, and sunburns, as well as burns caused by fire, electricity, steam, or direct contact with a hot liquid. It is also utilized to treat hemorrhoids, poison oak, poison ivy, dermatitis, ulcerative rashes, and bedsores. It acts to relieve pain, decrease inflammation and infection, and aid in the regeneration of the damaged tissues. It is fast acting, alleviating burn pain almost immediately after application. It is useful in pediatric eczema.

Apply ointment directly into the affected area after it has been thoroughly cleaned. The area may be covered with gauze to further reduce possibility of infection and irritation. Change gauze daily. May stain clothing.

Ingredients:
Sesame oil, Beeswax, Commiphora myrrha, Angelica poy mopha sinensis, Carthamus tinctorius, Mastic, Fructus Chaenomeles Spp, and Sanguisorba Officinalis.

Technical Specs:

The red color of the ointment comes from several of the herbs, hence the name "Wan Hung" (meaning myriad red ingredients; Ching means capital, referring to the origin of the formula in a capital city).
An important ingredient, representative of those selected to treat burns, is Pistacia chinensis , with its distinctive red foliage. It is used to treat ulcerations and rashes, and is a common remedy for dermatitis caused by contact with poison oak and similar allergens. The active components include tannins, such as gallic acid, and simple flavonoids, such as fisetin, fustin, and quercetin.

Warnings:

1.Ching Wan Hong can stain and discolor clothes. Remove with alcohol. Also, it has a strong smell.
2. Do not apply topically to lower abdomen or lumbar spine during pregnancy.
Do not bandage tightly.
Avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes.
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
Wash hands thoroughly after each use.
Do not add heat.
Discontinue use if skin irritation develops.
Avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes.
Avoid use during pregnancy.
Do not apply to open cuts, sensitive areas, or genital areas.

If condition worsens, rash develops, or if symptons persist for more than 7 days, or clear up and occur again within a few days, discontinue use of this product and consult a physician or Traditional Chinese Medical practitioner.

These are best products. I have gien 2 dozen of each of the items that I have ordered and given to friends and family. The burn ointment is the best every, it's good for bruises, cuts, hang nails etc. apply as soon as possible and it takes the hurt and bruising to heal faster.

Mother is not mobile and tends to get bed sores. This is the only thing that quickly relieves the pain and heals the bedsores QUICKLY! Amazing product!
